The association of cultural attachés of Ibero-American countries are sponsoring the Ibero-America Film Showcase 2012.
More than 30 films from Argentina, Chile, Guatemala, Mexico, Portugal, Spain, Uruguay and Venezuela will be shown from January 19 through February 23. Admission is free and all films have English subtitles.
Most films will be shown at the embassies of the respective countries. With so many embassies in or near the Borderstan area, this is a great chance to see Spanish- and Portuguese-language films — get the addresses of embassies online. You can find more info on the Facebook event page.
