CAFÉ CABO VERDE

CAFÉ CABO VERDE will be a 2 part event.
Part I - will have a speaker presentation on Cape Verde history, culture, language, links and influences with Africa, Caribbean and African American communities and cultures.
Part II - will have a performance by world renowned Cape Verdean artist Maria de Barros, food tasting (catchupa the delicious Cape Verdean staple dish), and much more information on the country.
This event is targeted to the local public, which may or may not know about the country, and would like to spend some time learning more and enjoying the music and food of Cape Verde!
